Tax Scams - Beware

Beware of Tax Scams and Fraudulent emails saying they are from the ATO asking you click on a link or asking you to verify information from you.

We’ve highlighted how to recognise this Scam in Red and disabled the link.

NEVER give anyone your

• Tax File Number TFN

• Bank account details

• DOB

• PIN

Note: The ATO usually calls on blocked numbers.
As the ATO have not identified themselves (because they’ve used a blocked number calling you) and they are calling you to ask you to identify yourself, we strongly recommend that you call them back.
