  The Applicant

We are looking for an experienced person to join our small team who has a solid knowledge of:

• Has worked in public practice for over 5 years
• Current Australian Tax Laws
• HandiLedger and HandiTax
• MYOB

You will are able to:

• Prepare tax returns confidently, efficiently and accurately
• Demonstrate concise written and oral English and be a confident self starter
• Start work promptly

Essential Experience & Requirements

• Experience with HandiSoft software
• Current member of an accounting body eg CPA, IPA, CA etc...
• MYOB knowledge
• Excel knowledge
• Has worked in public practice
• Experience in preparing Tax returns, BAS, PAYG, IAS etc.....
• Relevant Australian accounting experience of at least 5 years preferably longer
• Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision
• Ability to communicate queries and take directions from management
• Understanding tax benifits of different structures of Sole Trader, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and SMSF

The Role

• Preparing accounts using HandiSoft, BLG and MYOB for our clients
• Preparation of accounts for small to medium sized business clients including companies, trusts and superannuation funds
• Preparation of income tax returns for all entities
• Preparation of activity statements and FBT returns
• Register clients for ABN, GST, PAYG Superannuation, Workers Comp
